RAD is Recruiting!

Join the RAD committee and have the time of your life at University, whilst raising a lot of money for charity. RAD is just like any other club or society, all about having fun, being social and fighting for a cause

This year RAD (Raise and Donate) is starting from scratch, with a new name, new image and lots to play with!

We are looking for some fresh new leadership and there are a number of committee positions up for grabs

Committee Positions up for grabs:

• RAD President (Elected by an all student vote through the FXU Executive Elections)
• RAD Vice President & Secretary
• RAD Treasurer
• RAD Events & Social
• RAD Media & Communications
• Various Events & Campaign leader roles - LOST, Movember, RAD Week, Children in Need and Challenges Abroad

If you would like to run for any of the above positions, please put together a one minute speech, as to why you would like the role. This will be read out at the Committee meeting, and a paper ballot will be taken that same day.

RADicool & First committee meeting

The first RAD Committee meeting will take place next Friday from 5pm, starting at Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth. This is also your RAD intro event……..RADicool! A union scale ice bucket challenge (using sea water to be nice to the environment!) followed by the committee meeting and committee elections in a nice warm venue in town. Bring a bucket, a change of clothes and your challenge is to raise £5 to get involved. The event will be filmed and we will choose three other union fundraising groups to take on the challenge from there. MWHAHAHA!
