Hello! The past year has been a mad whirlwind of experiences and opportunities. This being my final update as SU president Falmouth before I handover to my successor at the end of June, I’d like to take the time to reflect on what I have done in my position this year, what projects are currently underway and what I hope for the future.

Hello, all! My first official update as SU President Exeter may be slightly shorter than my fellow presidents.
Besides sitting in meetings for most of my working days, as President Exeter, I do believe I have achieved a lot this year. As complex as some these meetings have been, it is in these spaces where my presence has influenced some of the greatest changes that I am most proud to have seen.
Some of us have been working on dissertations this year, some of us have been meeting cohorts for the first time and some of us have still never tried a Cornish pasty. Regardless of what we’ve been doing, I’m sure we can all agree that this has been an interesting year as we come away from the pandemic and navigate this new normal. I definitely missed the in-person shenanigans but learning how to socialise again has been weird for sure. I find myself asking people how they are doing twice whilst

As your Students’ Union we offer Sports Bursaries to students of outstanding sporting ability. The bursaries we offer range up to £1,500, are awarded on an annual basis, and are available to all current students who evidence satisfactory sporting performance, academic progress and general conduct.
