Making sure your voice is heard
We aim to ensure that every student has the highest quality of education and best student experience possible during your time studying here in Cornwall, so student voice is at the heart of everything we do. Student Voice is here to empower you and support your ideas to improve your overall student experience. We offer a number of opportunities to have your say and make a difference, including through our Octopus Feedback Tool, your SU Presidents, Subject Chairs (Exeter), Department Reps (Falmouth) and relevant staff.
Although we are quite a small students’ union, we have one of the highest levels of student participation in the country. Your elected representatives (Presidents, Student Council members, Course Reps) are here to listen to you and speak on your behalf to the University and other institutional bodies. They work hard to ensure your voice is heard.
We make your student experience more enjoyable
The SU provides societies, sports clubs, volunteering opportunities and chances to be politically active and represent your coursemates and colleagues. We also organise a wide range of events and activities specifically for you. We aim to provide something for everyone – but if you can’t find what you are looking for, you can always propose something new. It’s your Union!
We support you
Life at University can sometimes be challenging. We offer confidential and objective support and advice on anything from financial concerns, to welfare, to accommodation and course queries, at any stage of your degree. We are here for you from the run-up to the first time you arrive here, right up until the day you graduate.
