Meet Tes, your Liberation Committee Chair!

Hello, my name is Tes and I am the liberation committee chair ??

liberationliberation committee chairstudent council

The liberation committee is made up of officers that aim to represent marginalized communities by investigating potential issues and then running campaigns to solve them.

As a chair I oversee the committee's meetings and also represent the committee on the student council. I took on this role because I wanted to work towards making our student community as welcoming as possible and through being part of the student council I can let ensure our voices are heard. I firmly believe that universities should take an active stance towards social injustices and so my goal as a liberation officer is to promote this through our students' union. As students we do have the power to make a change, we just need to use our voices!

Apart from my SU role I am also on the volleyball team, I love climbing, and am a final year University of Exeter, Cornwall undergraduate student studying animal behaviour.

If you ever have any issues you want to bring up, don't hesitate to contact me!
