Success For All Fund
The University of Exeter supports students through its Success For All Fund.
The fund aims to provide financial help to meet particular costs which are not already being met from statutory (or other) sources of funding such as:
- Meeting special course and living costs, other than tuition fee costs, which are not already met from other sources.
- Providing emergency payments for unexpected one-off costs e.g. flight home, repairs and essential maintenance.
- Providing extra support if you are considering leaving higher education because of financial problems.
- Providing access to essential IT to enable you to meet the requirements of your course.
- Contributing to the cost of diagnostic assessments or specialist equipment.
- Additional support for Care Leavers with accommodation and other costs, including bridging support after graduating.
- Enabling you to participate in graduation.
- Alleviating hardship during the summer vacation.
- Contributing to the cost of travel or insurance for study abroad.
Please note the fund may not be used to pay your tuition fees.
Success For All Fund
Falmouth University
Hardship Fund
Falmouth University supports students through its Hardship Fund.
The fund is open to all students registered at Falmouth University during the year of application, except those studying through affiliate/partner organisations. This will include enrolled students and those intermitting from their studies. UK, International students, EU students, and students from the Channel Islands or Isle of Man can all apply to the Fund.
Priority is given to the following group of students:
- Students from low income families
- Students on high-cost courses
- Students with children (especially lone parents)
- Mature students (over 25)
- Disabled students - especially where the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) is unable to meet particular costs)
- Students who have entered higher education from care or former Foyer residents
- Students receiving the final-year loan rate who are in financial difficulty
If you are not in one of the priority groups you can still apply, but you should provide as much evidence as possible to demonstrate why you have an exceptional need for help.
Please note the fund may not be used to pay your tuition fees.
