Terms and Conditions

 

Tickets

There are various ticket options:

  • Student Tickets for students from Falmouth University and the University of Exeter. Currently £15 each.

  • Delegates Tickets (e.g. for sabbatical officers, student representatives or staff of students’ unions or universities). Currently one day tickets are £15 and two day tickets are £45 each.

Both Students/Delgates and their Guests have to be over 18 to attend the event. Everyone should bring age ID with them.

Students and Delgates can purchase a ticket for themselves and also additional tickets for their guests which must be named at the time of purchase. 

The event is not open to the public.

Tickets can be purchased from the FXU website (subject to availability).

You will be emailed more information following the purchase of your ticket.

All delegates must register upon arrival and collect their Voices Festival badge and programme at the check in desk in the Sports Centre.

 

Refunds

Tickets are non-refundable and the selling on of tickets is not permitted.

 

Can I bring a guest?

Students can purchase a tickets for their guests. Delegates can also purchase tickets for guests/colleagues. All guests must be named at the time of purchase.

 

Could there be changes to the programme?

It is sometimes unavoidable that there can be changes to programmed speakers and workshops. We will endeavour to keep you up to date with any changes (the website and Facebook event will be updated regularly). A change of programme is not grounds for a refund for the event.

FXU reserves the right to change any elements of the event if required.

 

Accessibility of venues

The Voices Festival will take place on Penryn Campus. Accessible toilets are available. If you have an enabler (carer) to assist you we will allow them free access with you (please let us know in advance). We recognise that Penryn Campus is on a hill with steps in some areas and we are accounting for this. Please let us know if you have any specific accessibility requirements or questions.

 

Personal Data

In purchasing a ticket from FXU, you give us permission to use your personal data for the purpose of administering this event effectively and in accordance with our data sharing and data protection policies. Click here for details. You also give FXU permission to use photography and video from the event, in which you may feature.

 

Right to refuse admission

The venue reserves the right to withdraw its invitation for anyone to be on its premises at any time. In particular we reserve the right to refuse entry to, or to remove from, the venue any persons who are drunk or disorderly or whose conduct is unlawful or offensive, who refuses a request for a search, is found or suspected of possessing illegal drugs, alcohol or weapons or who is not entitled to attend the event.  Any person who causes a disturbance or who refuses to comply with reasonable requests from venue management may be removed from the venue. The venue will not refund the cost of entry or ticket such cases.
