FXU has a number of committees that make sure that what we do supports and represents our students. If you would like to get involved with any of our committees, email email@example.com or drop into the FXU office for a chat with the Student Voice Team.
The FXU Board of Trustees oversee FXU's business and ensure we comply with Charity Commission rules and the law.
The FXU Elections & Democracy Committee makes sure that FXU Elections are run fairly.
The FXU Leadership Team represents you (the students at Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campuses). The Leadership team is there to listen to you and speak on your behalf to the University and other institutional bodies.
The Liberation Committee is here to work towards the equality of all students on campus, including representing marginalised / under-represented groups.
The Faith Committee is here to support students with faith.
FXU Sports and Societies Committee
Sports and Societies Committee: This committee consider all proposals for new clubs and societies, review sports bursary applications and aid the Sports Officer and Societies Officer to complete their manifesto.
Volunteering and RAD Committee
Volunteering and RAD Committee: This committee consider all proposals for new student led volunteering projects, review funding allocations for SLVPs and aid the Volunteering Officer and RAD Officer to complete their manifesto.
Exeter Subject Chairs share best practice and oversee the effective running of Student Staff Liaison Committee’s (SSLC’s) ensuring feedback is acted upon or escalated to the FXU Leadership Team as required.
Falmouth Department Reps share best practice and oversee the effective running of Student Staff Liaison Group’s (SSLG’s) ensuring feedback is acted upon or escalated to the FXU Leadership Team as required.
