Key dates

Nominations: 9am Monday 13th March –  4pm Friday 24th March

- You will need to complete a nominations form and get 2 students to propose you as a good candidate.


Campaigning & Voting: 9am Monday 27th March – 4pm Friday 31st March

- All eligible candidates will be campaigning for votes and participating in Q&A sessions known as 'hustings'.


Election results: 5pm Friday 31st March

- The results will be announced in the Upper Stannary, Penryn Campus. They will also be posted on this webpage.

What is the FXU Leadership Team election all about?

Now that the FXU Presidents have been elected for 2017/18 we are on the lookout for outstanding individuals to join us to make FXU projects a success for the next academic year!

If you think you’ve got what it takes to be part of the most powerful group of students on campus, take a look at the job roles and nominate yourself online!

Who can stand for election?

Any student registered with Falmouth University or University of Exeter Cornwall Campuses (UECC) can stand for Leadership Team election. You don't need to have any experience of being involved with FXU previously. All these roles are voluntary and are designed to fit in alongside your studies.

Student Rep

What is the Student Rep election all about?

Student Reps can make a huge difference to the student experience of their peers and for the student body as a whole. They are a critical link in the dialogue between the Universities and their students, and the better the reps, the better the system! You’ll get plenty of help and support from your course tutors and from FXU including training and opportunities to present at conferences.

Falmouth Course Rep Election

The nomination portal for all Falmouth 2nd and 3rd Undergraduate Student Rep positions for academic year 2017-18. Voting will take place via a paper ballot in class / lecture groups during the week of 27th March. Please note, all Postgraduate and 1st year Undergraduate positions will be elected in the new academic year.
