BeeSoc is a society dedicated to raising awareness amongst both students and the local community on issues concerning our pollinators. We do this through research talks and other awareness events that happen both on campus and within educational settings in the wider community. We run a certified bee keeping course for our members, with practical sessions in the society’s own beehives. We also actively encourage student-led research through our observatory hives. There are plenty of chances to get to know other students concerned with the state of our pollinators as we hold regular social events ranging from cake and honey tasting sessions to nights out and film and film or documentary viewings so make sure you keep up with our news and events!
