Viva Voce is Penryn Campus' Chamber Choir and since out founding in 2011 we have remained a non-audition choir. We are a friendly and very open society and anyone is welcome no matter how much musical knowledge or experience you have. Rehearsing once a week, the majority of our repertoire is acapella and in at least four-part harmony. Pieces range from classical works (in both English and Latin) from composers such as Bruckner, to Contemporary choral by the likes of Eric Whitacre. We have performances throughout the year, and are very popular around Christmas, often performing at Penryn Lights Festival, Falmouth Lights switch-on and FX Orchestra concerts along with other events.

Viva Voce also offers a male voice choir; practice follows straight after the main rehearsal and again performs a range of pieces, last year's highlights including arrangements of 'Ave Maria' and 'What Shall We Do With A Drunken Sailor'. This is the choir's first official year and we are very excited to be incorporating even more music into our society.
