So you’ve found yourself lucky enough to be studying in Penryn, with the beautiful Cornwall landscape, sun, sea and geographical euphoria all within reach! If you want to explore this new place you've found yourself in, what better way to do it than with GeogSoc!
We are a society dedicated to all things geography. Past events have included themed nights out, beach BBQ's, local walks, conservation volunteering and surf trips. Our calendar is always full, with a variety of socials, adventures and talks so you are certain to find something within the society that appeals to you!
And you don't have to be a Geography or Environmental Science student to join in with the fun! We pride ourselves on being a society for everyone with an interest in Geography or the environment!

Geog Soc Icebreaker: Map your Campus
17th September 1pm - 3pm
Penryn Campus Room TBC
Relaxed introduction to the society where we explain who we are and what we do. then break off into groups and do a orienteering style competition round campus performing team activities at each stop.

Thu 27th September

Geog Soc Fresher's Pub Orienteering
27th September 8pm - midnight
Upper Stannary then going into Falmouth Town
First social of the year just for freshers. meeting in the Stannary then taken into town where freshers will explore Falmouth's finest drinking establishments dressed as geographers and with a geography related twist!!
