Remembrance Day events

This year marks the one hundredth anniversary of the end of the First World War. Students are invited to local services to commemorate the centenary. Find out more about the Falmouth, Penryn and Mabe ceremonies below.

Penryn
Penryn Memorial Gardens. Assemble at 10.45am, service starts at 11am.
Please join us for a secular gathering and an act of remembrance in observing two minutes' silence in recognition of the men and women who gave their lives serving their country.

Mabe
Service of Remembrance at St Laudus from 10.45am, parade and Laying of wreaths from New Inn to WI Hall from 12.30pm, followed by refreshments and history display in the WI Hall from 1pm.

Falmouth
Service at Kimberley Park at 11am.
