RAD’s had a really exciting summer, from being nominated as RAG of the year at the RAG Awards 2017, to taking part in conferences, to planning all the events and challenges for the year ahead.
RAG Conference 2017
We had a great couple of days down in Southampton participating in sessions, meeting people from RAGs from all over the country and getting to know the charities that we’ll be working with throughout the year. Thanks so much to Southampton RAG for hosting the conference and we can’t wait to go to UWE in Bristol next year!
As part of this year’s RAG conference, the AGM for the National Student Fundraising Association was held and two members of FXU were elected onto the national committee. Sarah Redman, your RAD Vice President, was elected into the role of Marketing and Communications Officer and Harry Bishop, your FXU President Community and Welfare, was re-elected into the role of Chair. We can’t wait to see what they get up to in their new roles.
