Sarah Davey has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer at Falmouth and Exeter Students’ Union (FXU). Sarah joins us from the University of Plymouth where she is currently Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Membership Services. She has worked at Plymouth for the last seven years and we are delighted to welcome her experience and expertise to our team.
Sarah will work with the newly elected sabbatical officers at the Students’ Union to deliver the strategic plan, and develop services and projects to enhance the student experience. Commenting on her appointment, Sarah said, “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the FXU team and becoming part of such a progressive and dynamic community. The strategic direction of FXU and both Universities is exciting and I am looking forward to deepening partnerships with all key stakeholders to help us achieve our aims. I have been impressed with the quality of representation and delivery, and the valuable contribution that FXU brings to the lives of students in Cornwall and beyond. The passion and dedication embodied within the staff and Officer team is infectious and I am confident that together, we will continue to develop an already outstanding Union.”
