Sometimes you might just feel a little frazzled and need a place to go and rant, drink some tea, or just get away from it all for a bit. That’s where we come in.
Frazzled Café is a place to come and talk about whatever you want in a safe and welcoming environment. Find us outside the FXU office on Penryn Campus.
October 22, 1-4pm: Michelle Lewis, Head of Living Support, and team
For advice and support on all general student life problems, from living in the community to personal relationships, personal welfare concerns to the wellbeing and behaviour of others around you, the Living Support team are there for you.
November 8, 1-4pm: Helen Bancroft, Accessibility Services Manager, and team
Support for students with disabilities, health conditions, and specific learning differences. Their aim is for all students to feel equally valued and included whilst studying.
November 20, 1-4pm: Julia Gregory, Head of Wellbeing and Inclusion
The Wellbeing team have two main types of support: counselling and mental health. Our counsellors offer confidential support for students experiencing difficulties with their emotional wellbeing and our Mental Health team can provide expert advice and support on a range of mental health difficulties.
December 4, 1-4pm: David Dickinson, Director of Student Services.
December 11, 1-4pm: Colin Brown, Cooordinating Chaplain at Multifaith Chaplaincy, and team
The chaplaincy is there for everybody for their pastoral and spiritual needs. The chaplaincy team are always happy to listen to students irrespective of faith background, there to help you explore your spirituality, have a chat about everyday life, or just for a cup of tea.
