Last weekend representatives from five student groups attended the National Society Awards to celebrate their nominations for seven out of the 14 awards. FXU’s Islamic Society won Best Cultural and Faith Society and Wild Doc Soc won Best Hobby and Interest Society.

FXU's dodgeball team, The Falmouth Falcons, recently organised a tournament as a charity fundraiser. The team raised a total of £108.65 for Coppafeel!, a charity which aims to increase awareness of the signs of breast cancer in young people.
