Hayle Estuary trip

Saturday 17 November 2018
Exchange revolving doors
11am - 2pm

We'll meet outside the exchange revolving doors at 11am to drive to the RSPB Hayle estuary nature reserve. We'll get there for high tide, when the birds will be most visible. We'll then walk around the estuary looking at the many wading birds that migrate to the UK in the Winter, and may even get a glimpse of a vagrant Ring-billed gull from North America. We'll then drive back to campus, aiming to get back before 2pm.

Make sure you wear suitable clothing as it will likely be cold and windy. Food will not be provided or available on the trip so bring your own packed lunch.
