Come and learn about some of the world-leading environment and sustainability research taking place on campus. As well as a tour around the ‘BREAAM Outstanding’ Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI), you will have the chance to meet with academics, research staff and PhD students, and learn about their research finding solutions to the problems caused by climate change.
Staff will give short demonstrations and presentations on areas as various as antimicrobial resistance, politics, the effects of environmental change on ecosystems and microbe evolution, renewable energy, mine waste remediation, pollinators and drones.
Tours begin at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Turn up at the ESI cafe on the hour.
