Celebrating an international and diverse student experience

Tuesday 14 November, 11 – 2pm Study and Work Abroad Fair The Compass, Penryn Campus

  • Enrich your university experience overseas. Visit our stalls to speak to returning students and find out about the variety of opportunities for studying and working abroad, and the application process.
  • Join us in Exchange Yellow, 12-1pm, for an Exeter Panel Event where individuals will be talking about their Study and Work Abroad experiences.

Wednesday 15 November, FXU Celebrations, Penryn Campus

  • Meet the International Society to find out more about what they do and how to get involved.
  • Take part in International Sports throughout the day and also sign up to the Football World Cup that will take place in the Sports Centre, 2-4pm. Stay tuned for sign up details.
  • Come along to the International Quiz, Upper Stannary, 9pm where there will be prizes up for grabs!

Thursday 16 November, Falmouth Campus

  • Exhibition of competition entries ‘What does it mean to be international?’ displayed in the lower Courtyard on the Falmouth Campus.
  • Placements abroad event for Falmouth third year students Falmouth Campus, Lecture 2, 1-2.30pm.

Friday 17 November, International Students’ Day
1 – 3pm International Stories. The Exchange Green, Penryn Campus

  • Enjoy a free cream tea, be inspired hearing from the experiences of students who have studied abroad as well as finding out what it is like to be an international student. EAP (English for Academic Purposes) Students will offer an insight into what it’s like living and studying in Falmouth.
  • Visit the Libraries, see the displays, try a quiz and send a Cornish postcard home for free.
