Autumnal Kayak Adventures along the Helford River and creeks with Koru
Join a two-hour stunning guided kayak adventure along the Helford River and Frenchman's Creek. Kayaking along ancient oak lined banks with an abundance of wildlife - herons, little egrets, cormorants, kingfishers and the occasional seal spotted. See the shipwreck owned by the infamous character Percy 'Powder' Thurburn and hear tales of this stunning untouched area of Cornwall as we kayak along this conservation area and are of outstanding natural beauty. Frenchman's Creek was also the inspiration for novelist Daphne du Maurier.
No experience required, we use sit on top tandem kayaks, all equipment provided including a Koru Hat. Just bring swimwear, towel, a jumper for afterwards and a sense of adventure. Transport provided, pick up and drop off at Tremough campus bus stop in the Koru Landrover. Free hot chocolate and hobknobs too!
