Academic

Studying at University doesn’t always work out as you might expect and some students find themselves in difficulty. You may want to consider withdrawing, transferring or taking time out of your studies. If this is the case it is always helpful to seek help or guidance before you commit to making a particular decision. Often, you may not be aware of the implications affecting your finances and even your ability to return to University at a later date.

FXU Student Advisers are available to talk through any problems you may be having and give you the information you need to make informed choices. We can also advise you what procedures are in place if your academic work is suffering due to circumstances beyond your control, for example if you have been accused of academic misconduct or place an academic appeal. FXU can guide you through the complaints procedure if you are dissatisfied with any element of your course. Have a look at our Representation page, which gives comprehensive information on Academic Representation. Don’t forget you can also talk to your Presidents, as they are particularly interested to know if your course is not delivering what it should.
