FXU Freshers' 2012

Freshers’ 2012 is coming and we’re excited and thrilled to be welcoming you into the best years of your life. It’s official, you’re coming to possibly the best place in the country to study, and we’re going to be there to kick it off in style. With UCF Foundation Freshers moving in on the 1st, Exeter moving in on the 15th and 16th and Falmouth moving in from the 20th we have a months of activities lined up to keep you all entertained. Fresher’s this year kicks of officially with FXU Fresher's fortnight starting on the 24th, including tonnes of exciting activities, with four massive main events;

Monday 24th September - Grab your cutlass and your parrot and get ready to plunder and pillage at FXU’s first party of the year, with all manner of swashbuckling fun to be had at our legendary Pirate Party. £8 on the door. Doors open 9pm. 

Friday 28th September - Get ready to party with our Ultra Violet themed night, with special performances alongside some of Falmouth biggest DJ’s spinning tunes to get you raving all night long. £8 on the door. Doors open 9pm.

Monday 1st October - Something wicked this way comes, as we provide fire jugglers, stilt walkers and all manner of weird and wonderful sights alongside the standard great prices, music and drinks promos at this year’s Psycho Circus. £8 on the door. Doors open 9pm.

Friday 5th October - Dress to impress, we round off our Freshers Fortnight with The Ball, a smart and sharp affair with casino tables, magicians and some fantastic live acts to offer the perfect end to Freshers. £10 on the door. Doors open 9pm.

And that’s not all; from film nights to quizzes, sports taster sessions to the all important Freshers Fayre, we hope you’re as excited as we are. And your key to all of this? Get your hands on the FXU Fresher’s band. For £30 you get guaranteed VIP access to your core four events before 10pm, saving you moneys and getting you in before the crowds. Get there early and ensure your entry; you don’t want to be left out. Bands will be on sale online from the 1st of September and can be picked up when you get here.
