From streaming live performances in rural cinemas to innovative dialogues through social media, audiences' relationships with theatre companies and the way they experience theatre are evolving against a rapidly changing technological landscape.
This one-day symposium explores the challenges and innovations in engaging and reaching contemporary audiences and whether technology helps develop meaningful and intimate dialogue. A series of case studies will be presented from South West theatre makers who have made innovative use of technology to develop their relationship with audiences.
