If you want to get out at weekends, explore more of Cornwall or perhaps the remote parts of Britain with the potential to go to Scotland, Wales, and the Alps this society is for you. All you need is a pair of walking boots and a sense of humour.

It is not an army-training weekend or a geography fieldtrip the emphasis is on fun!!!!!

To begin with the basis for the walks is within the southwest (Dartmoor, Exmoor, Cornish Coastal Paths etc). Then at a later date expeditions further away will be organised (Beacons, Snowdonia, Peak District) in conjunction with the Expedition Society at Streatham Campus.

First event 2008/09:

A Coastal walk on Tuesday 7th October. Meet at the Moor 4pm for a leisurely approx 3 mile walk with optional drink stop on route. Wear sturdy footwear.  To find out more or to sign up come and find us at the Freshers' Fayre.
