April 2008: saw the newley form FXU Netball Team travel to Bath Spa for their first ever competative game. In its debut match the FXU girls narrowly missing out on a win against the well rehearsed Bath Spa A team.  FXU showed great promise for the future beating Bath Spa B convincingly with a 16-9 win. Our sports players definitely put us on the map and a reverse fixture is in the pipeline for October 2008.

On 3rd May the FXU netball team took up the challenge of a friendly match against Leeds University who travelled down for the match in force. Despite a win by the visiting team the spirit of the FXU squad has not been dampened and a fixture against the Truro College netball academy is set for 21st May.
