EVS  EUROPEAN VOLUNTARY SERVICE - Volunteering Opportunities in most European Countries FOR FREE!

  • All expenses paid volunteering in Europe for up to a year, with free travel, accomodation, language course and pocket money.

More information: The European Voluntary Service (EVS) is funded by the European Union.  In enables young people to go to other countries for 6 - 12 months to work as volunteers.  All travel, training and living expenses are included.  Age limits are 18 - 30.  Short term volunteering of 3 weeks to 6 months may also be available. 

 

Point Europa is a training and education charity, founded in Febraury 2004, based in Cawsand (SE Cornwall) The charity was set up to provide services for local people and others across the county.  As part of this we run a number of schemes such as kids clubs and adult traning. 

We extended into the European Voluntary Service to help improve links between Cornwall and the rest of Europe.

Volunteering Abroad - the inexpensive way!

 

You don't have to take time out to volunteer abroad and you shouldn't have to take out a loan either!!!! There are lots of summer opportunities for you in zillions of different far-off places, doing all sorts of amazing projects! Do you have 2 - 3 weeks to spare?

 

IVS International Voluntary Service  

is a peace organisation working for the sustainable development of local and global communities throughout the world.

 

IVS run a huge programme of Short Term Projects and their new SUMMER 2007 programme is out!! There are several hundred short term (2-3 week) projects requiring volunteers in over 45 countries worldwide.  All you pay for is your travel their and back, plus personal expenses.  I have the brochure in the office at Tremough and am happy to help any of you apply. 

 

APARE 2007- Vacances actives et solidaires en Provence Mediterranee

This organisation runs many voluntary international workcamps, primarily in the south of France and in Corsica and North Africa (Turkey, Morocco and Tunisia). 

 

The camps are restoration workcamps in beautiful places.  We have received the summer 2007 brochure! The workcamps really are cheap! So pop into the Tremough office and take a look.
