Tremough Campus

Pilates classes will run from Monday the 28th February at The Performance Centre at UCF Tremough
Campus.

Pilates is a perfect compliment for dance and theatre students offering specific body conditioning and
work around centre, developing core-strength, alignment and co-ordination which will enhance and
deepen your practice. For teachers and staff, Pilates also offers many benefits including relaxation
whilst gently working on your core abdominals to create strength and balance in the body to
counteract the stresses and strains of work!

The classes will take place on the following dates: Monday 28th Feb, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th March and
4th April. The cost of the 6 week course is £36 / £30 (students) for larger group classes of 12 people or £48 /
£40 for student for smaller group classes of 8 people. If you know in advance that you cannot make
one or more of these sessions, please let me know and I will do my best to offer you a different
payment plan for classes.


Class times are as follows:
5.30 - 6.30 pm Fit Beginners (max of 12 people per class) £36 for 6 sessions / £30 for students
6.40 - 7.40 pm * Fit beginners (max of 12 people per class) £36 for 6 sessions / £30 for students
7.45 - 8.45 pm Gentle Beginners (max of 8 people per class) £48 for 6 sessions / £40 for students
* Please note the 6.40 pm class is currently full, please let me know if you would like to be added to
the waiting list for this class.

Class Descriptions:

Fit Beginners: A class for those with a reasonable level of fitness, who would like an introduction to Pilates with
the opportunity to work towards some of the more challenging exercises in the Pilates repertoire.

Gentle Beginners: Suitable for those who want a gentle introduction to Pilates and a re-introduction to
exercise. This class is also suitable for those with remedial issues such as lower back problems or health
conditions.

What to wear: Loose, comfortable clothing with some stretch, such as jogging bottoms, or leggings and a tshirt
or vest top, and either socks or bare feet.

Equipment: All equipment is provided so you do not need to bring anything with you.
