Hello. I’m Jamie, your Falmouth President for 2011/12. I have just graduated from Photography. My main role as Falmouth Student President is to represent you, the students, at all levels of the University in both academic and decision-making meetings. Please feel free to come and chat to me about any issues or concerns you may have, positive and negative. This could be problems with your course, issues with rent / landlords, money problems, or maybe suggestions for what you would like to see changed / improved on campus. I can also povide sound advice on the best bars in town or perhapse help you find something to do with your spare time in the local area. I will always do my best to help you have the best University experience possible!

Hi all I'm Rich, your Welfare President for 2011. My job is basically to help students in whatever way I can in terms of any kind of welfare issues, be it financial, academic, social, sometimes even emotional; whatever your problem, I am happy to be your first point of contact.
I've been through the mill myself and had my fair share of pretty odd experiences in life, and I'm totally non-judgemental. Anything you want or need to talk about for whatever reason, pop in and we'll put the kettle on. Unless you don't like tea, then you can just pop in and have a chat. Without tea. That's ok as well.

I am Jonathan, known to most as Jono, to some as Bomber Harris. I will be the Exeter (UECC) Student president for 2011/2012. My role is similar to Jamie’s in that I represent Exeter students studying in Cornwall on all matters pertaining to academia and welfare. This does mean a number of long journeys up and back to Exeter to make sure Cornwall is adequately represented up at Streatham; these are trips where I do my best to do Cornwall proud. I am currently working hard on the term dates issue among other things, and additionally working towards creating a more defined identity for Exeter students in Cornwall. Like the others, our focus is 2012. We want everything that is physically possible, be that facilities or teaching structures, to be in place by the time the £9,000 fee’s drop.
To all the fresher’s, make the most of your time here. Being at University in Cornwall really is a uniquely incredible experience.
