FXU Community Action is here to give you all the opportunity to volunteer in the local community.

Volunteering is a great way to encounter new challenges, to make friends other than those on your course, to open doors to new experiences, to be part of your community and... of course... to have fun!  

So why volunteer?

There are oodles of good reasons to start volunteering. 

• play a part in looking after your local community and environment
  
• gets you some great work experience
• makes your CV look good
• helps you meet lots of people and hopefully make some good friends

 

how to get involved?

Becoming a volunteer doesn't mean you have to take on a huge commitment! FXU Community Action always has a variety of opportunities which can fit around the amount of time you have available. Be it a one off, a regular placement or holiday stint.
