FXU Advice Service
Money advice
Money is a concern for all current and prospective students. One of the most important things you’ll learn as a student is how to manage you money. As long as your finances are under control you can relax and enjoy all the other aspects of student life. It might seem difficult or boring, but in the long run it’s definitely worth knowing how much you have to spend and keeping track of where the money goes.
The Advice Service can offer information and advice on student loans bursaries, grants, tuition fees, welfare benefits, tax credits, income tax, council tax, financial hardship, debt problems, debt management and budgeting. We can also check that you are getting all the funding you are entitled to, and if you want, can help you work out your budget.
