Challenging & offering opportunities for the student population to be more outward thinking & actively involved with campaigns & charities, particularly those we'll be supporting.  2. Me: Im a 3rd year Broadcaster, Cornish born and bred, with aspirations of working in television on Doctor Who!!! And maybe one day converting to films.
Plans for the year: I would like to arrange a jammed pack year of events to help you escape from your studies and I would love your input on what is organised.

Community Action officer - Penny Tompkins

I will be working under Jill to help organise community activities and events. I’m also your representative on such matters so please get in touch if you have any suggestions or queries.
I’m a third year history student. I’m from an area in North Wales which resembles Falmouth, and I love it here.
I hope to aid community action in continuing the good work and range of activities which have been in place over the last few years. Also, look out for some new ideas, stronger links with the local community and a Facebook page!
 

 
Equal Opportunities officer - Nick Jarvis

I'm your port of call in the FXU for all things with an Equality and Diversity slant. I can help with setting up new societies in this field, or assist you with getting existing societies running better. I can provide information and contacts for any campaigns or activism you'd like to see happening, and I am somebody you can come and chat to about any equality issues you might face or worries you might have.
My plans for this year are to make equality issues a visable and active part of life here at Falmouth/Exeter University, so do come and let me know if there's anything we can do for you! 

Environment and Ethics officer - Finn Raven

I’m a second year Conservation Biology and Ecology mature student – I love my course and meeting so many fantastic people at Tremough.
I am passionate about environmental issues and want to encourage us - staff and students alike - to consider the impact of our everyday actions both locally and globally. I’d like to bring in systems and incentives to make sure that we act on what we know. 

I’m open to discussion and am happy to listen to and take action on good ideas – always giving credit where it’s due! So if you have ideas, concerns, questions or anything you’d like to discuss about environmental or ethical issues on campus feel free to get in touch

My main job this year is to research and write an environmental policy specifically for FXU – I want to do this with your input so you may well find me asking for your opinion! I’m heavily involved with the campus allotments and we aim to get them up and running well his year. Again, if you feel there are environmental or ethical issues we need to address, contact me and I’ll do whatever I can to get things moving!

I’m current in my third year doing Press and Editorial Photography. I’m planning to make this years events as awesome as possible and to make sure we can get as may people as can to come a long. If you spot me around feel free to stop me and give me any ideas that you might have. I’m always thinking of new and existing ways in which to get the message out there, so getting your input and ideas would be amazing. Looking forward to seeing you all around.

Hey I’m Andy Edmonds your new sports officer. Just about to start my third and final year at Falmouth studying Broadcasting. So thought I would help our Students Union - FXU on matters I feel strongly about. I’m going to work on organising competitive fixtures against other uni's. Promote Wednesday afternoons to become designated to sports matches. Also, looking forward to organising sports tours during the year.
