 FXU Elections 2010 RESULTS!!!

With an FXU record voting turnout of 1503 students in this year's FXU elections, FXU are VERY proud of you!!! Thank you! FXU are so happy to see how much students want to get involved and have a say in student life! So, the results.......

Candidates that students elected for 2010-11 are:

The Presidents! (Full-time, paid sabbatical posts)

FXU President UCF 'Falmouth Prez':   Andy Edmonds

FXU President UECC 'Exeter Prez':   Kristy Wallace (Wally)

FXU President Welfare 'Welfare Prez':   Tim Port

The Exec Officers! (Part-time, voluntary, undertaken whilst a current student posts)

FXU Environment & Ethics Officer:   Sophia Campbell & Katie Armstrong(Joint)

FXU Sports & Societies Officer:   Twins - Samuel Phillips and Thomas Phillips (Joint)

Big WELL DONE!!

A massive well done to all those elected and all the candidates that stood for the positions! Also, another FXU record made in the number of contested president positions! Fantastic achievement and the candidates worked so hard in campaigning and were at the heart of the success of this year's elections. Woop!

The yearly FXU Elections are where students have the chance to vote to who they want to run FXU (Falmouth and Exeter Students' Union) and represent students for the following academic year.

All President and Executive Officer roles are for improving the student experience; campaigning on student issues; making sure the Students' Union is student-led and running properly; and are elected by students!
