Student Members' Meeting

Student Members' Meetings are an opportunity for all members to come together at least once a year to speak directly to the Presidents and CEO about the Union's activities over the last year, also looking at how the SU generates its income as well as what areas it has spent it on.

The next Student Members' Meeting will be in 2024.

What is a Student Members' Meeting?

The Student Members' Meeting is an annual meeting open to all students. It must be held once a year.

Who is it for?

You! Any University of Exeter or Falmouth University student studying on any campus in Cornwall is encouraged to attend, as well as elected SU representatives. Normally the Student Voice Chair will chair the meeting.

What does it do?

The meeting shares information and updates between the students and the Union. However, more than this, it also ensures that the whole of SU is remaining accountable to the students.

  • SU Trustees report on the Union's activities
  • An update on SU finance, including how much money SU has received and spent
  • Questions to Trustees
